Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She has won many acting awards and is one of the actors with the highest salaries. Anushka Sharma is youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) Her mother is a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, Anushka's brother and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka has graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore gave her with a Bachelor of Arts. Anushka is a graduate with a Master of Arts qualification in economics. Anushka was always aspired to become either journalist or model but never an actor. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating in the field and received training from Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka's first time as a model for fashion was in 2017, in which she was a model in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week followed by being selected by Rodricks to appear in his spring-summer 2007 collection. Anushka, since making her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in campaigns by companies like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began giving film auditions along with her modelling. Anushka sharma made her film debut in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. In preparation for her screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed a full day. Later on she was cast in three films for Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger bride to the middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The movie received mixed praises. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she played a Punjabi middle-class girl who set up her own company. The film received a positive review. Anushka was able to complete the three film contract with Yash Raj Films.
